What is CalOptima?
CalOptima is a public agency that manages health insurance programs for Orange County residents, including:
- Medi-Cal: A program for which CalOptima is authorized by federal law to administer benefits
- OneCare: A program for beneficiaries who have both Medi-Cal and Medicare benefits
- PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly): A community-based program that provides integrated health care services for frail elders
Get Healthcare Through Optima
To get healthcare through CalOptima, you must:
- Choose a health network.
- Choose a primary care provider (PCP) who is contracted with your health network
