What is LA Care?

L.A. Care Health Plan is a public health plan that provides health coverage to low-income and vulnerable residents of Los Angeles County. L.A. Care offers a variety of health plans.

L.A. Care was created by the State of California in 1997. It's the largest publicly operated health plan in the country.
